07.24.2010 Hiking Updates Complete: I've gone through the hiking adventures for the last few months and those are now up. Gia and I did a lot of hiking early in the year, mostly at West Wing Mountain, just North of our house. When Chop and Gia went to Morgantown in April, I did a motorcycle/hike to the summit of Vulture Peak. Once thy were back the whole gang did the Woodchute Trail, near Jerome. (That was the hike that I fell down and split open my knee). After my knee healed, I flew out to ATL to do some of the Appalachian Trail with Goose. We also hit up some of the finer dining establishments, including Dreamland BBQ (so-so), The Vortex (excellent), Porter Beer Bar (great selection), and of course Johnny B's Beef-N-Brew in Dahlonega, GA (Interesting name at least). A few weeks later, we did a loop hike in the Granite Mountain Wilderness near Prescott. Then on July 4, I got up at 4AM and drove up to Flagstaff to hike Humphreys Peak. I made sure to take the convertible so as to get the true Arizona Summer experience. It was 80 in Phoenix, when I left, 46 in Flagstaff when I got there, 50's to 80's on the trail (very windy on the summit ridge), then 100 when I got back to Phoenix. I had the top down the whole time, though if you're going to leave your car in a dirt parking lot for 5 hours, I'd suggest putting it up...

07.15.2010 Well, another few months, another big batch o' updates for you... sort of... I've got a lot of stuff coming, but it's taking some time. To tide you over, we've got some more Tiny G pictures to post, almost 400 in fact... Month 13 | Month 14 | Month 15 | Month 16. This covers the last few months of Tiny G time, which includes a ski trip, a Morgantown Trip, a visit with the Barkema gang in Chicago, and all sorts of Arizona Springtime activities. Of course, there's even more to get caught up on, coming soon... There's another set of pictures from our 2nd Colorado ski trip this season. (I got in 22 days this year, not bad for livin' in AZ...) A little later in the season, I took a trip down to Georgia in June to hike part of the AT with Goose. We did a couple of hikes on Springer Mountain and Frosty Mountain near Amicalola Falls State Park. We've got a bunch of other hiking trips in Arizona to post, and probably some more doggie pics in there somewhere as well. And in the time it took me to get G's springtime months up, she squeezed another couple in on me. Stay tuned...

02.06.2010 - BIG UPDATE! Yeah, it's been a while, so we've got a huge stack of updates for you. Gia just turned 1. Actually, wait. Before that she also turned 11 months old. She also went on her first ski trip (Page 1 | Page 2) (although she had to hang in the lodge), and even to the zoo. Also, I've got the photos up from the premier of Habib's movie Armless at the Sundance Film Festival.
